Women’s and Children’s Alliance Crisis Center

The Women’s and Children’s Alliance provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Since 1980, the nonprofit WCA has been in the forefront of protecting women and their children escaping violent circumstances. The WCA Crisis Center’s secure residential shelters primarily serve abused women and their children from Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley counties. The agency also provides uniquely comprehensive local support services to those affected by domestic and sexual violence .Agency offers a 24 hour domestic violence and/or sexual assault hot line, temporary shelter, residential program (shelter for up to 120 days), support groups, individual counseling, case management, education classes and court advocacy for women experiencing domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Shelter and residential services are available to children of the parent utilizing services. On site child care available for support groups and classes. Must call and give WCA 24 hour notice if you need child care for the support group and/or classes. Clothing, counseling, parenting courses, help with assistance programs. A self-help program. One-on-one counseling and educational support group provided.
