CSI Office on Aging

For the last 30 years, the CSI-Office on Aging has developed and coordinated such services as: Home Delivered Meals Information and Assistance Case Management Respite help for caregivers Homemaker Services Caregiver Services Job and Volunteer opportunities Transportation, and more to assist older persons.

Providing leadership and advocacy on issues important to older Idahoans. Administration and monitoring of federally and state funded programs and services designed to help older Idahoans retain their independence, safety and dignity. Information and referral assistance for older people. PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:**Adult Protection – Investigation and legal assistance.**Family Caregiver Support Program – Assistance, information, respite, support and supplemental services. **In-Home Services – Case management, homemaker, home-delivered meals, caregivers respite.**Nutrition Services – Senior Center directory, home-delivered meals, congregate meals, education and counseling.**Aging and Disability Resource Center- Information and assistance concerning long term care.**Ombudsmen – Advocates for the elderly in facilities.**Support Services – Information and Assistance, outreach, transportation.**Grandparents as Parents Support Group – supports the efforts of grandparents and other adults/kin who step in to parent children during temporary or permanent absence or neglect of parents. **Foster Grandparent Program – Volunteer in local schools**Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) – Senior volunteers using their life and job skills to give back to their community.**Senior Companion Program – Seniors helping other seniors to remain independent. The Idaho Commission on Aging provides contract oversight to Area Agency on Aging offices.
